White Egret with Chicks - cropped view of a distant nest but my first view of White Egret nestlings. I find the chicks of herons and egrets terribly cute. Audubon described the Great Blue chicks as 'uncouth' in appearance but the spiky hairdo they sport is quite adorable. White Egret wing span is always lovely and never more so than when draped over her young.
