Tri-Color Heron at Wakodahatchee Wetlands..showing its amazing mating season colors. The eyes really are that jewel-like red and the blues in its beak are true. Wakodahatchee is wonderful to visit in the late afternoon through sundown as the lighting is soft and warm and birds are returning to their nests.
