Tri-Color Heron or Louisiana Heron strolls gracefully within a shallow pool along the Black Point Wildlife Drive section of the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge. The Refuge is an important wintering ground for many migratory bird species and a thrill to visit and see which might be in residence on any given day.
