Young Tri-color Heron (Louisiana Heron) darting about the branches of the nesting island and walking a tightrope of branches. Several nests have young of various ages scampering about like monkeys. I hate it when they miss as there is an American Alligator that hangs out beneath the branches just waiting for a hapless chick to fall.
