She Sits in Her Beauty - Nesting White Egret
This lovely White Egret sits on its nest of twigs with its delicate aigrettes draped gracefully on the surrounding ferns. Our lady in waiting faced a sad end though to her first clutch as the eggs fell prey to some invader. A subsequent visit to check on this nest revealed only some broken blue eggs shells and our parent white egrets gone. But, we are left with a lovely image.
