The Janthina Images Everglades Cards are intended to convey a view of various, unique Florida habitats. We consider it a mission to show how evocative, wild and special our area truly is and to encourage visits to experience these areas. When you hike for the first time into the cool waters beneath the majesty of cypress trees you are captivated by the beauty , the sweetness of the air, and the sounds of life around you. The water is surprisingly clear and cool, not at all as you'd imagine a swamp to be. And, if you stand still you can feel the water move ,almost imperceptibly, but it moves. It gives a tangible sense of the everglades as a giant filter that water moves through and an inkling of how critical an environment it really is.
Perhaps these cards might help encourage a visit and learning more about the vast Florida wilderness we know as the Everglades.
